“Our Universe” is a two-day event at Fostek Hall (in the Jefferson Center) in Roanoke, Virginia that is dedicated to celebrating the art of burlesque and drag. The showcases will feature talent and entertainers local to southwest Virginia as well as national and international performers.

To host a performance showcase weekend that highlights the abundance of talent that lives in the Roanoke region with BIPOC/POC performers at the forefront. The stage is open and to be shared with others by welcoming performers from everywhere.
MISSION
Breaking down the stigmas and barriers that exist against the burlesque and drag communities through awareness, education, and exposure and to create a sustainable performance circuit in Roanoke and the surrounding area for local artists to make a living from their art.
BIPOC/POC feeling safer - in their hometown and abroad - because of equitable and safer space practices.
